Yep I started with the first video and did literally exactly what he did. I did however at the start mess up the load order for nexus and loaded dual sheath redux first.

Then I turned it off in the NMM and loaded the other mods first like 32 skeleton and immersive animations. Then I turned redux back on. I saw a post saying that since I did that it created another file for the dualsheathreduxpatch folder. Which i looked for and couldn't find in my skyrim data folder. So i'm really stuck here.
