Change Region Sega Cd Game

As far as I'm aware, Mega Drive/Genesis games look at the region of the console to determine if/how they should run. It's the other way around with the Mega CD/Sega CD; the console looks at the region of the game here, and the BIOS will not run games that don't match the console's region. You may have noticed that different Mega Drive/Genesis games give different messages for wrong region, and usually require different game genie codes to bypass the lock, whereas exactly the same thing happens every time there's a region mismatch on the Mega CD/SegaCD; the BIOS will simply refuse to let you run games that don't match. It's not the Mega CD/Sega CD games that have region lockouts; it's the BIOS.
Whereas for the Mega Drive/Genesis, it's the games, not the console, that have the region lockouts, hence some Mega Drive/Genesis games do work on foreign consoles. I can't try it as I don't have this game, but methinks the seller is telling porkies.
